The OpenSTAAD Macro Exchange allows STAAD.Pro users from all over the world to exchange specific structural analysis and design components that are written as an extension to STAAD.Pro using OpenSTAAD. For example, you can write your own moment connection module and integrate it inside STAAD.Pro taking advantage of all the results STAAD.Pro generates for a specific run. In order for us to monitor the macros being posted, we will require some information about you. The current version of OpenSTAAD (OpenSTAAD 2.0) allows STAAD.Pro users to write their own macros using VBA inside of the STAAD.Pro environment itself! STAAD.Pro 2003 and above comes equipped with a built-in VBA editor and a series of functions enabling users to have access to all of STAAD.Pro's pre and post-processor functions including tables, dialog boxes, windows and assignment of loads, releases, properties and much more. This version of OpenSTAAD allows you to customize the GUI of STAAD.Pro to automate repetitive operations or create specific report tables with data that STAAD normally can't do. In order to access the graphical commands of STAAD.Pro and the embedded VBA editor, you must purchase the OpenSTAAD Professional license. Please contact REI representative for pricing.
