Project: Social Security Office
Building
Location: DinDaeng, Bangkok, Thailand
Asst. Managing Director
(Senior Engineer) Civil Design and Arch:
Mr. Withaya Sanchuensaku
The office Building is located in Bangkok
and has a floor area of 22,000 sq meters.
The building is approximately 13 stories
and the complete analysis and concrete design
of the beams, columns and slabs were done
using STAAD.Pro. It has about 1119
nodes or joints, 688 beams and 941 plates.
The height of the building is approx 56
meters from the ground level.
"The complex geometrical shape with beams
and columns framing in with slabs was modeled
easily in STAAD. STAAD's co-ordinate system
was very helpful in creating the model.
With over 1000 nodes and beams, several
load cases, many load combinations along
with Automatic Wind load generation, it
was an easy task to perform an advanced
P-delta analysis and design with STAAD.Pro."

The
graphical user interface of STAAD.Pro
enabled us to build a design model of the
concrete building with speed and efficiency.
STAAD's quality to customize reports made
obtaining results a simple matter.
