Engineering, Construction Company to Standardize Worldwide Operations on STAAD.Pro

YORBA LINDA, CA - October 19, 2004 - netGuru, Inc. (Company) (Nasdaq: NGRU), through its REI division, has licensed its STAAD.Pro structural analysis and design software to Bechtel Corporation, one of the world's largest engineering and construction companies.

Privately-held Bechtel Corporation was founded in 1898 and is the world’s premier engineering, construction, and project management companies. Bechtel employs more than 40,000 people through offices located throughout the world and is involved in a wide range of infrastructure and other large construction projects in nearly 60 countries.

During the three-year licensing agreement, Bechtel will incorporate STAAD.Pro throughout its worldwide organization as its new standard software for all analysis and design functions and activities. STAAD.Pro's new open-architecture enables engineering firms to not only customize their applications but also integrate those applications with third-party software to meet more specific customer requirements. By standardizing on the STAAD.Pro product, Bechtel will become one of REI’s largest corporate license clients.
